Prof. Luo Lu Huiying shares insights and growth in teaching:
【一】
No matter what the grades are,
there will always be a way out
Prof. Luo mentioned that nowadays many students who are facing the GCE or BTEC promotion semester feel pressured. And they are also very nervous in the classroom when they get into university, but this stress is all from their own worries about their grades. Prof. Luo suggested that we don't need to worry too much about the marks we get, the most important thing is what kind of path you are going to choose, after all, there will always be a path, and the grades are just the threshold stone of your life path.
【二】
Your future is always in your own hands
Prof. Luo followed up the previous topic by mentioning everyone's “future”. She mentioned a successful former friend of hers, who was not favored by many people since he was a child and did not have the best grades, but is now the boss of a listed company, which shows that one's future is always changing and you always need to grasp your own future. This shows that one's future is changing, and your future always needs to be grasped by yourself.
【三】
AI can never replace human intelligence and creativity
AI as the most cutting-edge technology means, whether in teaching or learning has been popularized, but for artistic creation, AI is not necessarily a good assistant, using AI can quickly complete a thing, but he can not carry out the creative design, thinking innovation.
【一】
The value of a person's life is the
embodiment of their personal characteristics
Prof. Hu, a very emotional teacher, talked about the uniqueness of music, and how both historical musicians and present-day musical creations are inseparable from the “value of one's life”. Each person, when designing his or her own work, is using “another language to communicate with the world,” which is in fact a unique value of life.
【二】
Find your own expertise and
strengths and promote them
Prof. Hu suggested that we should find our own value and at the same time find our own specialty in creation. Everyone in the learning process will have more or less personal opinions and views, when we really realize what direction we want to develop, we may have found our own specialties, try more in the direction of their own expertise, and give play to their own personal characteristics and value is the most important.
问答环节
There may not be much connection between the professional knowledge learned in university and the skills learned in society, and even many people choose to switch careers in their work, but they will choose to find employment in the direction they are good at and have outstanding talents in.
In the art education industry in Hong Kong, completing only 4+2 undergraduate and educational courses is required to interview teachers in primary and secondary schools.
Our career plans may not be fixed, as the world is constantly changing and you may not always be able to follow your current path smoothly. But the only thing that remains unchanged is your original intention, to work hard and be what kind of person you want to be.
