With the help of YIAA Performing Arts teachers, college teachers and parents, ANGEL and RICO, the outstanding students with both strength and potential, successfully won the 2025 offer of Drama at Wimbledon College, University of the Arts London.

YIAA Performing Arts Department Angie Wu, enrolled in 2024, came to YIAA to concentrate on the professional skills and knowledge of performing arts, especially in musicals and drama, and successfully got the Lunar Arts OFFER this year.

“I was a dropout from the A-LEVEL system.”

Angel is a bright and cheerful girl who is good at expressing herself. Before coming to YIAA, she attended an international school in Guangzhou, where she studied the A-LEVEL program and won numerous awards for her singing. After one year of study, she became bored with the intense and fast-paced international learning atmosphere. After a chance encounter with musical theater, she became obsessed with it and started learning to sing, dance and perform. After coming to YIAA, she worked even harder and got an offer from Lunyi this year.

YIAA Performing Arts Department Cao Tiange, enrolled in 2023, RICO has loved dance since he was a child, and through professional training, he has shown amazing talent in modern dance. With the help of YIAA's international teachers, RICO has successfully obtained two OFFERs from prestigious UK schools this year.

“I decided to give up the path to the ECE.”

Before coming to YIAA, RICO had been focusing on her dance studies, and she had originally hoped to knock on the door of a prestigious school through the dance art exam. However, the road to the exam was not easy, as there was a lot to learn and a huge amount of energy to put into it. Especially the balance between culture and art classes, so that she felt the pressure. Due to the high intensity of professional studies, his cultural studies were greatly affected, resulting in most of the courses fell behind. In the end, she had to give up her domestic art exams.

But after coming to YIAA, the situation has changed significantly. Here, RICO was able to devote herself to the professional direction she loved, and at the same time, she was able to get in touch with many new professional skills. More importantly, this focused and fulfilling learning experience has greatly increased her confidence and certainty in herself.

Advice from two outstanding students to all students who are studying dance and performance:

1. Be sure to orient yourself to the direction of study and the specialty you like and love, and don't blindly force yourself to study for the sake of exams and works!

2, when you have the pressure, must be appropriate regulation, especially when confused, think about their own goals, a little optimism may also be able to consider more different ways to solve the problem.
